Graveyard Shift (2017)
Graveyard Shift was a side project I was working on in 2017. It was the height of Stardew Valley fever. I thought it would be very original to do a dark spin on the farming sim game by making a game where you run a graveyard. Then I learned the game Graveyard Keeper was in development… needless to say, my little tech demo wasn’t the next indie hit.
The game was made in the Love2D engine, with scripts written in Lua (my first Lua project). It gave me some experience with isometric projection, shaders and spatial partitioning.
Captured on a dying 2013 Macbook. It usually runs at 60 FPS - I swear!
